The Vernon Vipers Hockey Club is looking to add another great member to our team! The Administration Manager is responsible for the everyday function of our front office and is the first face that greets our great fans in our office.
If you are a dynamic individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, has a love for sports and working in a team environment then you might be the person we are looking for. Reporting to the Executive Vice President you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and accounting tasks of the Hockey Club. There is great opportunity to grow in this position and grow with a great team support.
o answering phones, inquiries, front office presence
o Ticket Sales
o Season Tickets – sales/processing and input into Igniter Ticketing System
o Assist with Print Design
o Cash outs
o Staff Scheduling
o Coordination of game night volunteers
o Assisting with the planning of each game night
o Organizing Jersey Auctions
o Assist with the Organization of Team Events
o Daily Bookkeeping (Data Entry/A/R/A/P)
o Assisting with social media and Website
o Assisting with Merchandise
o Assisting with all game night planning
o Available for all Game Nights
o Other office administration as needed
• A College degree is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate
• Knowledge and experience of understanding ice hockey sport.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Accounting experience is an asset but not required
This position would begin as part time position with full-time employment beginning in August 2022.
During the season you would be expected to be available during regular office hours and for each home game.
