After the Buzzer – Vipers Can’t Complete Come Back in Penticton

Penticton, BC:  Despite falling behind in the first period, the Vipers mounted an impressive come back that ultimately got the team within a goal.  Unfortunately, it was as close as they would get as the final finished 5-3 in Penticton's favour.

Adam Csabi had a pair of goals, his team leading 7th and 8th.  Owen Kim had a pair of assists.  New Viper Noah Dorey registered his first point as a Viper with an assist.

"We played hard tonight," said Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee.  "We had lots of chances and the bounces just didn't go our way.  I'm proud of the effort."

Ethan David was replaced by Colin Reay early in the second period, but returned for the 3rd after Reay left with an upper body ailment.

The Vipers powerplay scored again finishing the night 1 of 3.  The PK killed off 4 of 6.

James Fisher tallied a hat trick for Penticton.  Callum Arnott and Thomas Pichette also had goals.  Will Ingemann stopped 31 of 34 for the win.

The Vipers are back in action Sunday afternoon when they head to Merritt to take on the Centennials.
