After the Buzzer – Vipers Drop Decision to Eagles

Seattle, WA, USA:  The Vipers surrendered 4 first period goals and failed to rally as they fell by a 7-3 score to the Surrey Eagles at the BCHL Showcase.

The Vipers made a game of it in the 3rd period to cut the deficit at one point to 5-3.

Adam Csabi, Owen Kim and Erik Pastro had the Viper goals.

Ethan David had 18 saves on 25 shots.

The Vipers powerplay was 1 for 3, while their PK killed off 3 of 4.

The Eagles jumped on Vernon early as Joven Brar scored early in the first.  Cayden Cranston tacked on two more in the period, before finishing off his hat trick in the third period.

Jag Phangura also scored in the first period.  The 4 goal flurry was enough for the Eagles who held on despite a third period rally.

Ante Zlomislic and Ty Brassington finished off the scoring for the Eagles.

Ajeet Gundarah had 28 saves on 31 shots.

The Vipers are next in action Friday night when they face the Vees at the SOEC.
