After the Buzzer – Vipers Fall In Penticton

Penticton, BC:  The Vipers opened the scoring early in the third period after 41 really good minutes of hockey, but couldn’t hold on as the Vees pounced for five unanswered to take down Vernon 5-1.

Julian Facchinelli scored the only goal for the Vipers, his 10th of the season.  It came off a great individual effort, streaking down the left wing then snapping one blocker side on Luca Di Pasquo.

Roan Clarke had a solid performance with 34 saves.

Josh Nadeau and Spencer Smith had a pair of goals, while Bradly Nadeau had one.

The Vipers held the Vees scoreless for 42 minutes of the game before both teams hit the back of the net.

Vernon will finish their regular season with a 7pm puck drop in Merritt.
