Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the commitment of 2005 born forward Jiri Duda from the Chicago Reapers 18U AAA Program.
"Jiri first and foremost is simply a terrific kid that wants to put everything he has into being the best player he can be," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "We are expecting Jiri to bring an element of speed and skill to our lineup."
Duda, from Glen Ellyn, Illinois, is in his second year with the Chicago Reapers program. This season he has 23 goals and 21 assists in 42 games played.
"I'm very happy to be joining the Vipers next season," says Duda. "I'm excited to grow as a player and person while working to win a BCHL Championship."
Duda is 5'9, 165 pounds.
