Flood Cancels Vipers Game

Kal Tire Place
September 3rd, 2016

The Vernon Vipers game exhibition game against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks tonight has been cancelled due to a water main break located on 35a street near Alexis Park Church. As a result of the main break…it backed into the sewer and then into Kal Tire Place. The Vipers coaching and office staff was forced into action just after 8am this morning.

According to Vipers Executive Vice President Todd Miller the team has contacted the BCHL and the Silverbacks and have decided to cancel the last exhibition game of the season. He is confident the facility will be ready for the home opener on September 10th.
