Game Day for Vernon Kia! – Vipers Host Capitals

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers (3-2-0)  welcome the Island Division leading Cowichan Valley Capitals (6-2-0) for the first and only time tonight at Kal Tire Place.

The Vipers come in after a solid 3-0 win over Powell River on Saturday that saw them surrender just 20 shots against.  Cam MacDonald had a pair of goals and Max Palaga turned aside everything put his way for his 2nd BCHL shutout of his career.

The Capitals found themselves back in the win column after handing the Salmon Arm Silverbacks their first loss of the season 4-1 at the Shaw Centre last night.

Dan McIntyre lit the lamp twice and Zach Borgiel stopped 32 of 33 in the victory.
