Last Game – Vernon
It was a gutsy road effort Friday night as the Vernon Vipers defeated the Salmon Arm Silverbacks 3-2 in overtime at Rogers Rink.

Lane Maarhuis was outstanding between the pipes, stopping 38 of the 40 shots he faced.
Special teams played an important role as well. Vernon went 0-for-1 on the power play but delivered when it mattered most on the penalty kill, successfully shutting down all four Salmon Arm opportunities.
