GAME DAY PREVIEW — Vipers vs Warriors

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers wrap up their short two-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Interior West Division–leading West Kelowna Warriors to Kal Tire Place.

The Vipers (3-10-5-0) are coming off one of their most complete efforts of the season, despite falling 3-2 in overtime to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks last night. Toms Trockis and Lane Sim provided the offence, while Oliver Kanata was sharp with 30 saves on 33 shots.

West Kelowna (15-2-2-0) arrives riding a hot streak after a 3-1 win over Sherwood Park. Jace Rask scored twice, Kelsen Podworny added another, and Angelo Zol earned the victory with 29 saves. The Warriors are 8-1-1 in their last 10 and continue to roll near the top of the BCHL.

Ruslan Jamaldinov and Dylan Krayer lead the way offensively for the Warriors, each sitting at 22 points.

Tonight marks the second of seven meetings between the division rivals. West Kelowna took the first matchup 5-3 on September 30th at Royal LePage Place.
