Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers will kick off the 2026-27 home schedule with a marquee matchup, hosting the defending regular-season champion West Kelowna Warriors on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Kal Tire Place.
With the new BCHL season fast approaching, additional details surrounding the 2026-27 regular-season schedule are expected to be released in the coming weeks. The first major date to be unveiled is the Vipers’ highly anticipated home opener.
“It’s always nice to have your home opener against a division rival like West Kelowna,” said Vipers Executive Vice President Todd Miller. “We look forward to welcoming all of our great fans back to Kal Tire Place.”
The Vipers and Warriors provided plenty of entertainment in their meetings last season. While Vernon finished with a 2-5 record against West Kelowna, every matchup was tightly contested and featured plenty of offense. The Vipers’ most recent victory over the Warriors came on Feb. 27, when Vernon earned an exciting 6-4 win.
More information regarding the full 2026-27 BCHL schedule is expected to be announced within the next week.
