VERNON, B.C.:The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the commitment of 2005 born forward Owen King of Bishop Kearney Selects 18U AAA Program.
"Owen is a very good skater who plays the game hard," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "His tenacity and skill set will be a welcome addition to our group of forwards for next season."
King, from Rochester, NY, had 47 points in 60 games last year. He also had 5 points in 6 games at the Circle K Classic.
"I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to come out to the BCHL," says King. "I couldn't be happier about coming to Vernon and being a Viper."
King is 5'9 and 160 pounds, shoots right and is committed to Providence College.
