The Vernon Vipers return home after a tough 3-2 loss in Salmon Arm last night fell seven points back of the 4th place Salmon Arm Silverbacks who hold down the fourth and final playoff spot. The Vipers with just six games remaining have just three home games remaining this season. The Vipers come into tonight's game having won just twice in their last five games and are 3-5-1-1 in their last ten games.

The Langley Rivermen make their first ever appearance to the Wesbild Centre. The last Langley Junior hockey team that visited Vernon was the Langley Chiefs back in January 2011 when the Chiefs come away with a 3-2 victory. Langley comes into Vernon tonight snapping a two game losing streak after a 5-1 victory over the visiting Chilliwack Chiefs last night. Mario Puskarich (38-40-78) leads the league in scoring has the 4th place Rivermen holding onto the fourth and final playoff spot sit just five points up on the 5th place Coquitlam Express. Langley has won just two of their last six games and has just one win on the road in their last seven games. The Rivermen are 4-6-0-0 in their last ten games.
