The Vernon Viper player of the month award was presented prior to last weekends contest with Coquitlam.
One of the newest Vipers Mason Blacklock was presented with the award. Blacklock had a great month of January after joining the Snakes at the BCHL trading deadline.
He played in 5 games in the month of January while recording 3 goals and 4 assists. He was also selected BCHL Player of the week for the week ending January 20
