Preseason Game Day – Vipers Finish Exhibition Schedule Tangling With the Warriors

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers look to finish the preseason strong tonight as they host the West Kelowna Warriors at Kal Tire Place.

Last Game:  The Vipers were blanked by the Warriors 3-0 at Royal LePage Place Last night.

“We didn’t seem to have the same energy that we had in previous games,” said Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee.  “The pace of the game was high and we mismanaged puck in crucial areas of the ice which resulted in us chasing the game.  We need to be better tonight as a group to try and finish on a winning note to conclude our exhibition season.”

Tonight:  The Vipers have been excellent at home in the preseason outscoring the opposition 8-4.

Last Game:  The Warriors improved their record to 3-0 with the victory last night.  Felix Caron, Michael Salandra and Caden Kemkaran-Humble notched goals while Rorke Applebee made 24 saves for the shutout in his first start of the preseason.
