Preseason Game Day – Vipers Host Silverbacks In Saturday Night Matchup

Vernon, BC:  It may be preseason but there has been a lot to like about what the Vernon Vipers have shown through two games.  They look to keep the momentum going as they host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for the second half of the home and home set.

The Vipers were victorious last night thanks to a 1-0 win.  Jordin Palmer had the lone goal on the powerplay.

The Vipers goaltending tandem split the duties last night with Colin Reay and Dylan Adams making 13 saves each in the combined shutout.

The Silverbacks come in after a good showing considering it was their first exhibition game.  Ryan Grout was a bright spot in the Salmon Arm goal making 34 saves in the loss.

The Vipers penalty kill has been perfect through 2 games killing off all 3 penalties taken through the two game span.

Faceoff tonight is 6pm at Kal Tire Place.

Fans are welcome to bring their own food an NON alcoholic beverages to the game tonight as the concessions will be unavailable. Tickets are available at the Kal Tire Place Box Office and all seating is general admission.
