Vernon, BC: The Vipers look to keep building and improving as they take on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for the first of a home and home set.
The Vipers kicked off their exhibition schedule with a fun 5-4 overtime win over the Trail Smoke Eaters on Sunday. It was a lineup full of fresh faces who aimed to impress the coaching staff. George Stavrianeas showed well with 3 assists. Bronson Ross found the back of the net twice in the victory. Local product Erik Pastro and Linden Burrett each had a pair of assists. European import Adam Csabi had the game winner.
This is the first of four preseason games for the Silverbacks.
They’re looking to build off a very strong run last season and look to return a number of players from last years roster.
