This position is a part time position with possible growth. Please see the job description below:
Game nights:
- Set-up and test broadcast equipment
- Prepare any information needed for broadcast (stats, lines, history, etc.)
- Pre-record and produce coach/player interviews for broadcast
- Broadcast complete game plus pre/post-game shows and intermissions
- Broadcast must be completed according to team and league standards as well as those of 1075 Kiss FM Vernon
- Post updates (scores/photos/etc.) to Facebook and twitter accounts
- Write game reports from each game
- Post stories on team website and send to media
- Ensure team Facebook page is up to date
- Work with team photographer to get photos from each game for blog/media release
- If necessary, take photos
- Write and update blog
- Work with and direct broadcast/media team to ensure broadcast quality
- Direct and co-ordinate colour commentator as necessary
Non-game nights:
- Pre-record interviews for game-night segments and ongoing blog entries
- Interviews can be done at the rink or by telephone (at the Juice if need be)
- Player profiles
- Alumni updates
- Etc.

- Keep tabs on team news (injuries, trades, etc)
- Work with coaching staff/management to ensure information meant for the public gets out in a timely and effective fashion.
- Maintain and upkeep broadcast equipment
- Work with Viper Staff and Kiss FM on broadcast ads/liners
- Be available for interviews/etc with other league broadcasters/media
