Stage is set for 2014 RBC Cup in Vernon

For the first time since 2009, the RBC Cup national championship is in British Columbia and the City of Vernon is playing host.
The host Vipers are set to welcome the Carleton Place Canadians, Dauphin Kings, Toronto Lakeshore Patriots and Yorkton Terriers to Kal Tire Place.
With teams coming from across Canada to the North Okanagan, there's always a bit of an element of the unknown. We'll try to remove some of that here with a look at the RBC Cup schedule and a brief snapshot of each of the teams who have qualified.
Carleton Place Canadians (Central Canada Hockey League)
Qualified for the RBC Cup by defeating Quebec's St-Jerome Panthers.
Key players: F Andy Sturtz, F Evan Peterson, D Kelly Summers
Dauphin Kings (Manitoba Junior Hockey League)
Qualified for the RBC Cup by taking second place at the Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup, which they hosted. They defeated the Spruce Grove Saints for the final RBC berth.
Key Players: F Brent Wold, F Dylan Butler, G Jordan Piccolino
Toronto Lakeshore Patriots (Ontario Junior Hockey League)
Qualified for the RBC Cup by defeating the Wellington Dukes.

Vernon Vipers (British Columbia Hockey League)
Qualified for RBC Cup as Host.
Key players: F Brett Mulcahy, F Dexter Dancs, G Austin Smith
Yorkton Terriers (Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League)
Qualified for the RBC Cup by winning the Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup.
