Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers put a 4 game win streak on the line against the hottest team in the BCHL tonight when they host the Trail Smoke Eaters.
The Vipers (7-6-0) are coming off a 2-1 OT thriller in Penticton last night. Brett Fudger scored his first BCHL goal and Christian Felton notched the overtime winner. Reilly Herbst continued his fantastic play stopping 39 of 40 in the victory. Matt Kowalski has been on a torrid pace over his last 4 games notching 9 points (3 goals, 6 assists.)
The Smoke Eaters (9-5-1) come in with a 9 game win streak. To put that in perspective, the Smokies went winless in their first 6 before rattling off this stretch.
