Vernon Vipers Add 2006-Born Goaltender Jesse Sanche

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the addition of 2006-born goaltender Jesse Sanche.

“Jesse is a local Okanagan kid who has proven he has the makeup to be a dominant goaltender,” said Vipers General Manager and Head Coach Matt Cooke. “He has worked with Lyle (Vipers goaltending coach) in the past, and we feel that being back home will only help Jesse find his elite game again. We are excited to have him with us and have him help our team.”

Sanche has spent the past two-plus seasons in the Western Hockey League, playing with the Kamloops Blazers, Everett Silvertips, and Penticton Vees. His strongest season came last year in Everett, where he recorded 23 wins while posting an impressive 2.65 goals-against average. Sanche has made 73 appearances at the major junior level.

The Vernon Vipers would like to welcome Jesse and his family to the organization.
