Johnson arrives in Vernon after splitting last season between the Burlington Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) and the London Nationals of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL). Between the two clubs, the skilled forward recorded 10 goals and 9 assists while continuing his development against strong competition.
The Lake Superior State University commit brings a hard-working, competitive style of play with the ability to contribute offensively and make an impact in all three zones.

"He's a hard-working, competitive forward with solid offensive instincts and a willingness to battle in the hard areas of the ice. Johnson is looking forward to beginning the next chapter of his hockey career in the Okanagan.
"I'm super excited to get out to Vernon, get to work, and have some fun," said Johnson. "I've heard great things about the organization and the fans, and I'm looking forward to developing my game, competing every day, and doing everything I can to help the team be successful."
