Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers have officially unveiled their 2026-27 British Columbia Hockey League regular season schedule, with another exciting 54-game campaign on tap.
The Vipers will face plenty of familiar rivals throughout the season, including seven head-to-head matchups against each of their Interior West opponents. Vernon will meet the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and Cranbrook Bucks seven times apiece, with three games at Kal Tire Place and four on the road against both clubs. The Vipers will also square off seven times with the West Kelowna Warriors and Trail Smoke Eaters, featuring four home games and three away contests against each opponent.
Against Interior East teams, Vernon will play four times each, with two games at home and two on the road.
The 2026-27 schedule also brings a return to the Coastal East Division for the first time since 2024. Viper fans will get a chance to see the Coquitlam Express and Prince George Spruce Kings at Kal Tire Place, while Vernon will travel to face the Langley Rivermen and Chilliwack Chiefs on the road.
Two BCHL Showcase games will also be part of the schedule, with those matchups set to be announced at a later date.
There are a few notable stretches on the calendar for Vernon. The club’s longest homestand runs from January 15 to February 6, a six-game stretch that includes the BCHL All-Star break. Meanwhile, the Vipers will also face a pair of lengthy road swings, with five-game trips running from October 21-31 and again from February 12-20.
“It’s always an exciting time when the schedule is officially released,” said Vernon Vipers Head Coach and General Manager Matt Cooke. “There are some challenging stretches on the road, but also key portions of the season where we’ll have the chance to settle in at home and build momentum in front of our fans.”
