Vipers 2022-23 Schedule Released

VERNON B.C. The BC Hockey League has announced the schedule for the 2022-23 regular season. The league’s 61st season will begin on Friday, Sep. 23 and finish on Sunday, Mar. 26 and will once again consist of 54 games for each team.
The schedule currently does not include dates for the BCHL Showcase, where each team plays two regular-season games. The Vernon Vipers will open up the season with a home and home series with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks with the Vipers in Salmon Arm on September 23rd and then hosting the Silverbacks at Kal Tire Place on Saturday, September 24th.

Executive Vice President Todd Miller says he's very happy with the upcoming season schedule.
"We're pleased to see the number of prime nights this season. The BCHL's Steve Cocker deserves a lot of credit for the work on this schedule. We look forward to welcoming back the best fans in the BCHL again this September."

The Vipers schedule is highlighted by 14 games on Saturday night and another nine on Friday. This schedule will allow for more practices, gym time and more recovery time for BCHL athletes, bringing it closer to a college hockey format.
