Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the addition of 2007-born defenceman Teodor Vápeník for the 2025-26 BCHL season.
“Teodor is a smooth-skating defender who has size and a really good stick,” says Vipers Head Coach and GM Matt Cooke. “We think he can bring some offense from the back end and fits really well on our blueline.”
Vápeník, from Rumburk, Czechia, brings international experience to Vernon. The 6’4”, 210-pound left shot suited up in six games with the Czechia U18 national team last season and was a steady presence on the blueline for HC Dynamo Pardubice.
“I’m excited to join the Vernon Vipers organization,” says Vápeník. “I’m ready to take on this next chapter in my hockey journey.”
Please join us in welcoming Teodor and his family to the Vipers organization.
The Vipers return to action Sunday night at the BCHL Showcase in Abbotsford, taking on the Coquitlam Express at 7:00 PM.
