Chilliwack, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to make it 3 in a row and a perfect showcase this morning as they take on the Alberni Valley Bulldogs for the first of two meetings this season.
The Vipers (2-2-0-0) come in following a strong performance over the Chilliwack Chiefs last night. The Vipers had four different goal scorers and Roan Clarke stopped 22 of 23 shots in the victory.
The Bulldogs (3-1-1-0) ride into the game after a 5-2 win over West Kelowna yesterday. The Dogs are winners of their last two games, both in convincing fashion. Alberni is led offensively by 19 year old Brandon Buhr who has 5 goals and 3 assists. It’s been a platoon in goal as Jackson Glassford and Hobie Hedquist have split duties, both goalies have NCAA commitments and have provided consistency for Joe Martin and company.
