Last Game: The Vipers won their 7th road game of the season after a 3-1 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters last Saturday. Hank Cleaves had 2 goals and 1 assist in the victory. Walker Erickson pitched in with a powerplay goal. Roan Clarke was magnificent in goal with 34 saves on 35 shots.
Tonight’s Game: Tonight is the third game of a four game road trip for the Vipers and the fifth meeting of the season between the Vipers and Spruce Kings. These teams haven’t played each other since late October. Vernon is 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. Julian Facchinelli, Hank Cleaves and Dylan Compton each have three points against the Spruce Kings this season. PGs powerplay was 1 for 6 and their PK gave up 2 goals on 3 Penticton powerplays. The Spruce Kings also lost the night before, 4-1 to Powell River.
