Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to clinch a birth in the Okanagan Cup Final tonight as they travel to West Kelowna to take on the Warriors.
The Vipers (3-6-1-2) are coming off a pair of losses to the Penticton Vees over the weekend. Tyler Carpendale has caught fire scoring 3 goals in his first 4 games since joining the team.
In head to head meeting during the round robin, the Warriors were victorious in all 4. The games were extremely close with 3 out of the 4 being one goal games and 2 of those were in overtime and shootout results.
The Warriors (7-4-1) finished their portion of the round robin with a pair of wins over Salmon Arm to clinch the 2nd seed.
