Vipers Game Day – Vipers Host Backs in Home Opener

Vernon, BC:  Less than 24 hours after the Vipers fell to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, they’ll look to dish out some home cooking of their own tonight in the second of back to back games with their North Okanagan rivals.

The Vipers (0-2-0-0) come in following a 4-2 loss last night in Salmon Arm.  JoJo Tanaka-Campbell and Luke Buss had the Viper goals.  Cam MacDonald added to his team leading point total adding an assist, for 3 points on this young season.  For the first time in recent memory, the team went a full 60 minutes without taking a penalty.
The Silverbacks (2-0-0-0) look to keep things rolling following the win last night.  Simon Tassy had a hat trick for the Backs, while Noah Serdachny had 3 assists, all on Tassy’s goals.  Owen Say stopped 20 of 22 for his second win of the season.
In a game that saw quite a bit of physicality only one minor penalty was recorded.
You can catch all the action starting at 5:45 with the pregame show on 107.5 Beach Radio and HockeyTV.
