Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to bounce back after their first loss of the pod season as they play host to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks tonight.
The Vipers (3-1-0) come into the game following a 4-2 loss yesterday afternoon to the West Kelowna Warriors. Tyler Carpendale had a pair of goals in the loss. Roan Clarke had a good showing in his first BCHL start stopping 27 shots.
The Silverbacks (1-2-1) come into the night following their first win of the season, a 4-3 overtime win, over the West Kelowna Warriors. Simon Tassy was the overtime hero and Owen Say stopped 31 of 34 for his first BCHL win.
All three Vernon POD teams have played four games so far. The Vipers are 3-1, the Warriors 2-1-1 and the Silverbacks 1-2-1.
