Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to build off a solid effort on Wednesday night as the host the Merritt Centennials for the final time this season.
The Vipers (25-19-4-3) come in following a 4-1 win Wednesday night in Merritt. The Vipers had goals from Luke Buss, Tyler Chan, Cam MacDonald and Reagan Milburn. Roan Clarke stopped 26 shots for the win. The Vipers have won their last two hockey games, outscoring the opposition 7-3. The Vipers are 6-4 in their last 10 games and improved to 11-9-3-3 with just one road game remaining.
The Centennials (3-43-2-2) come in after a 7-1 loss against West Kelowna on Friday night. Jackson Krill scored his 6th goal of the season in the defeat. Without question it has been a tough season for Merritt who look to play spoiler with 4 games remaining in the regular season. Ben Ward has 25 points to lead the way for Merritt. The Cents are 1-8-0-1, but winless in their last 9 games. The Cents have all 3 of their wins at home.
