Last Game: The Vipers continued the trend of playing from behind in Game 4 and despite a second period rally, ultimately fell short as the Backs pulled away with a 7-3 win.  Julian Facchinelli, Isaac Tremblay and Walker Erickson had goals, while Viper goaltending combined for 23 saves on 30 shots.  The Vipers powerplay was 1 for 2, but the PK struggled going 0 for 2.

Tonight: For the Vipers it’s quite simple, win and play Sunday, lose and go home.  Most facets of their game need improvement from Game 4.  The team will be awfully motivated as some players face their junior hockey mortality.

Last Game: Salmon Arm survived a second period flurry from the Vipers before pulling way in the 3rd period with 3-unanswered goals.  The Backs had 7 different goal scorers, Foley, Allen, Boilard, Laylin, Mackie, Lambert and Santa Juana.  Matthew Tovell made 27 saves on 30 shots.  The Silverback powerplay is red hot going 2 for 2.

Tonight’s Game:  Salmon Arm are aiming to punch their ticket and a date with the Vees in the next round of the post season and would love nothing more than to do it at home.  Game 4 was their most consistent performance of the playoffs.  The Backs are 7-1 in 8 playoff games.
