Vipers Game Day! – Vipers Look To Get Back In Win Column

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers look to get back to in the win column tonight when they take on the West Kelowna Warriors.

The Vipers (9-4-1-1) come in following a 3-1 loss to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Wednesday night.  The loss brought their nice 4 game win streak to an end.  The big keys in the game was the play of Owen Say in the Silverbacks goal crease and a powerplay goal from Cam Recchi.  The Vipers out shot the Backs and played a solid defensive game, but ran into a hot goaltender.  Griffen Barr scored the lone goal with his 6th of the pod.

The Warriors (6-6-1-1) come in following a 3 game break.  Their most recent outing was on Monday when the Vipers routed the Tribe 9-0.  There was no question the number of games and injuries caught up to the Warriors, but they’ll be refreshed and fully motivated tonight.

You can catch all the action starting at 6:45 with the pregame show on 107.5 Beach Radio and BCHL.TV
