Vipers Game Day – Vipers Travel to Face Familiar Foe in Merritt

Vernon, BC:  The Vipers saw their four game win streak halted last weekend in the first of three away from home.  Tonight they face a familiar opponent, coming off a big win earlier in the week.  The Vipers and Centennials tangle for the fourth time at 7pm at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.

Last Game:  It was a rare misstep for the Vipers in their last outing on Saturday night.  The Vipers were doubled in shots and blanked for the first time this year, 4-0 in Salmon Arm.  Ethan David seemed to be the lone bright spot making 39 saves on 43 shots.

Merritt Centennials

Power Play:  13 for 58 – 22.4%

Last Game:  The Centennials got back in the win column on Tuesday night was they took down West Kelowna in a back and forth affair at Royal LePage Place.  The Cents saw a 2-goal lead disappear, only to rally from a deficit of their own to take the lead late in regulation time.  Merritt spread their offense around with 10 different players registering a point.  Dylan Lariviere, Michael Stenberg, Tyler Wishart and Easton Ryan had goals.  Beau Lane had 41 saves on 44 shots for his first BCHL win.
