Vipers Hit the Road to Face the Vees in Key BCHL Matchup

Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers kick off a road weekend tonight as they travel to Penticton to take on the Vees in what promises to be another tightly contested battle.

The Vipers (11-20-6) are looking to bounce back after a tough 6-3 loss to the Brooks Bandits on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Vees (30-6-2) enter the game with momentum, having recently defeated the Bandits 6-1.

Vernon’s offense is led by Will Schumacher, who has tallied 12 goals and 20 assists this season. On the other side, Ryden Evers is pacing Penticton with 16 goals and 23 assists.

This marks the fourth of five meetings between these two teams, with each of the first three matchups being decided by just one goal—one of which included an empty-netter. If history is any indication, fans can expect another closely fought contest.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM, with the pregame show starting at 6:45 on Beach Radio, Vernon Matters, or FloHockey.
