Vipers Host Cowichan Valley (11-20-16)

VERNON, B.C.  NOVEMBER 20, 2016

The Vernon Vipers felt that they let an opportunity for 2 points slip through their fingers Friday night in West Kelowna. They look to rectify that and even the season series against the Cowichan Valley Capitals who come to town for the first and only time this season.
The Vipers come in looking to finish their week on the right note. They started the week with a 5-2 win over the Langley Rivermen, then earned a point in an overtime loss to the West Kelowna Warriors. They will have a tall task in the Cowichan Valley Capitals who hold a victory over the Snakes at the beginning of this month. The Vipers will look to maintain their hot play at home, they are 6-3-0-1 at KTP.
The Capitals come in at the tail end of a 3 in 3 road trip that saw them fall in Chilliwack, but win in Salmon Arm. It has been a while since the Caps got out on the road, they recently finished up an eight game homestand that saw them win just 3 games. The Capitals are 4-6 in their last 10 games and have a solid 6-3-0-1 record on the road.

Here’s the breakdown:
