Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of 2006 born defenceman Roarke Gilmour.
“Roarke is a competitive, mobile, 2-1ay defenceman with excellent skating ability,” says Head Coach of the Vipers Lukas Lomicky. “He is an exciting young prospect who we believe will adapt quickly to our league and be an impact player for our team.”
Gilmour, from Iroquois, Ontario, spent the last two seasons at St. Andrew’s College. He tallied 5 goals and 30 assists in 53 games.
“I’m very excited to play for Vernon this year and grateful for the opportunity to play for such a great organization,” says Gilmour. “It’s such a beautiful city and I can’t wait to get started!”
Gilmour is 5’11, 165 pounds and shoots left. He is committed to the University of Maine.
