Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce they are welcoming Hockey Gives Blood on Saturday night when they host the West Kelowna Warriors.
“We are extremely excited to host such a great organization that does so much for the community,” says Executive Vice-President of the Vipers Todd Miller. “It’s nice to have a former Viper come in and drop the puck and be a big part of the event,” Miller says.
Former Vernon Viper Aaron Volpatti will on hand to drop the puck as part of a ceremonial faceoff. He will also jump on the radio broadcast for an interview.
Hockey Gives Blood was founded in 2018 by former hockey players, all of whom were seeking to do more for the Hockey community.
They will have a table set up and you’re encouraged to drop by for more information.
