Vernon Kia Game Day! – Vipers Have Valentines Date With Wild

Wenatchee, WA, USA:  The Vernon Vipers look to build off some key momentum from last weekend as they take on the Wenatchee Wild for a crucial showdown at the Town Toyota Center.

The Vipers (28-22-2-1) come in to the game following a big 5-3 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters last Sunday.  The Vipers used 4 first period goals to pace them to the victory.   The Vipers have won 4 of their last 6 games.  The powerplay is 3 for 12 in the last 3 games.  Two Vipers just surpassed significant milestones as Ben Helgeson and Trey Taylor both played in their 100th regular season games.

The Wild (27-22-3-1) come in having won 4 straight games and are unbeaten in the month of February.  They downed Coquitlam at home before going on to defeat Prince George, Surrey and Langley to wrap up a road trip.

The Vipers sit two points behind Salmon Arm for 3rd place and 1 point ahead of Wenatchee.

The Vipers have won 4 of the first 5 games of this season set, but they haven’t played at the Town Toyota Center since the 2nd week of the regular season.
