Vernon, BC: Seiya Tanaka-Campbell had a pair of goals, but it was the West Kelowna Warriors who would come out on top of a 6-2 win in Game 3.
The Warriors jumped out to an early lead as Tyler Cristall converted on a powerplay to make it 1-0. While 4 on 4, Brennan Nelson slipped home a loose puck to make it 2-0. Late in the frame Seiya Tanaka-Campbell scored his first of the period making it 2-1 West Kelowna after 1 period.
Seiya evened the game up with his second of the game, a beautiful finish on a partial breakaway to make it 2-2. Shortly after, Chase Dafoe gave his team the lead again. Late on the powerplay Christophe Farmer tacked on another powerplay goal sending it to the intermission 4-2 West Kelowna.
The Vipers killed a crucial 5 on 3 penalty, but couldn’t solve Johnny Derrick on a powerplay. Elan Barlevwise struck on a 2 on 1 and again a few minutes later to put the game out of reach.
Game 4 goes Wednesday night at Kal Tire Place.
