After the Buzzer – Vipers Blanked By Vees

Vernon, BC:  The Vipers put 10 second period shots on the Vees goal, but Luca Di Pasquo stood tall, as he did all night, as the Vipers were shutout 4-0 on Wednesday night.

The Vipers jumped out to an early 4-1 shot advantage and did a really good job of keeping the Vees off balance.  Two first period penalties forced the PK into action and it was up to the challenge.  Brett Moravec opened the scoring for Penticton, deflecting home  a point shot 17 seconds after the penalty expired.

Luca Di Pasquo stopped all 10 shots the Vipers put his way including a number of good looks from the likes of Isaac Tremblay and Lee Parks.  Bradly Nadeau gave the Vees a 2-0 lead with his 30th of the season late in period 2.

The third period was defensive as the Vipers mustered just 4 shots.  Aydar Suniev and Bradly Nadeau tacked on goals.

Ethan David made 31 saves on 41 shots.

The Vipers will now embark on a 4 game road trip starting Friday night in Wenatchee.
