After the Buzzer – Vipers Come Back Falls Short in Game 2

Salmon Arm, BC:  For the second straight game the Vipers trailed Salmon Arm by a 3-0 score, this time however, the comeback would fall short as the Backs evened the series at 1 with a 5-2 win.

Seiya Tanaka-Campbell and Jonathan Horn scored their first goals of the playoffs and Ethan David made 27 saves.

The Vipers powerplay went 0 for 2 and the PK went 2 of 3.

Nathan Mackie had the insurance goal late in the 3rd period as well as the empty netter to seal it, his 4th and 5th of the playoffs.  Owen Beckner, Ryan Gillespie and Isaac Lambert had singles.  Hayden Stavroff tallied two assists.

Matthew Tovell made 21 saves on 23 shots for the victory.

Game 3 will go Tuesday night in Vernon.
