After the Buzzer – Vipers Pushed to Brink in Game 4 Loss

Vernon, BC:  Jack Glen and Matt Culling had goals, but that was all the offense the Vipers would find as they fell 6-2 against West Kelowna.

The Warriors opened the scoring after a one timer from the right circle from Brennan Nelson.  The Vipers evened it up late in the period as Jack Glen jumped on a rebound in front at 19:40 sending it to the intermission tied at 1.

The Vipers had some early looks in the period, but the Warriors took the lead after Christophe Farmer scored on a rebound.  Two minutes later Felix Trudeau extended the West K lead on the powerplay marker.  Matt Culling cut the deficit to 3-2 on a powerplay goal of his own.  The Warriors restored their two goal lead when Christophe Farmer batted a puck out of mid air.  The goal was originally waived off, but then overturned and called a goal making it 4-2 West K.

Brennan Nelson added his second goal of the game early in the third, spelling the end of the night for Roan Clarke.  The Warrior powerplay added one more from Tyler Cristall to seal it.

The Vipers are now in a must win situation as they head to West Kelowna for Game 5 on Friday night.
