Vernon, BC: The Vipers 3rd period heroics were on display again in Game 3, but unlike Game 1, the Vipers fell in double overtime by a 3-2 score.
Luke Ashton scored his first of the playoffs midway through the period to get the Vipers on the board. Hank Cleaves evened the game up with just 70 seconds left on the clock.
The Vipers heavily outshot Salmon Arm for the last 50 minutes of the game, but could only solve Matthew Tovell twice.
Ethan David finished with a 28 saves on 31 shots.
Isaac Lambert and Hayden Stavroff had the Silverback goals, before Will Lavigne played overtime hero.
The best Silverback player was their goalie as Matthew Tovell was tremendous making 41 saves on 43 shots.
