Ayden Third Wins Kyle Turris Community Award

The BC Hockey League has announced the Interior Conference winners of the Kyle Turris Community Award. The award recognizes BCHL players who go above and beyond with their involvement in their community.

The Vernon Vipers winner is defenceman Ayden Third. Ayden was always willing to go above and beyond when it comes to community service. One of the first to volunteer and make himself available, he has been a favourite in the community and a great representative of the Vernon Vipers hockey club.

The Regina, Saskatchewan product had been a mainstay in the Vipers lineup for the last 3 seasons. He finished his junior career with 5 goals and 23 assists. He was the Viper ironman for back to back seasons. Dating back to the pod season, he suited up in 139 straight games. He will continue his hockey career and education with the University of Regina.
