Ethan David Commits to RIT Tigers For Next Season

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce that Ethan David has committed to the Rochester Institute of Technology for next season.

“Ethan came in as a first year goalie and has matured as a person and goaltender over the last 3 years to where he is an elite starting goaltender in the BCHL,” says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee.  “Ethan will be ready for the challenges of college hockey next season and we look forward to watching his continued development at that level and beyond.”

The Vancouver product has suited up for 76 regular season and playoff games and counting for the Vipers.  He’s knocking on the door of 35 regular season wins.  He also has 10 combined shutouts, a 2.66 goals against average and a solid .913 career save percentage.

“I am very excited to be continuing my hockey career at RIT,” says David.  “Their program offers everything I’m looking forward to in a university, from elite hockey to highly praised academics.  I’d like to thank my family, friends, coaches and mentors for where I am today.  Especially the coaching staff at RIT for allowing me to contribute to their future success and for that I am grateful.  Go Tigers!”
