Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the commitment of 2005 born forward Marcello Giorgi from Shawnigan Lake School U18 Prep.
"Marcello is a forward with good size and an excellent shot," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "We expect Marcello to be able to integrate very well to the junior level with his consistency in details and work habits."
Giorgi, from Stouffville, ON, is in his second year at Shawnigan Lake School. He has 21 goals and 25 assists in two seasons.
"I'm super excited to get started in Vernon to further pursue my goal of playing collegiate level hockey," says Giorgi. "I've heard nothing but great things about Vernon and I'm proud to represent such a great program."
Giorgi is 6'2, 185 pounds and is a right handed shot.
