Jandric Scores Twice In Win

VERNON, B.C.  SEPTEMBER 2nd, 2017

Veteran blueliner Chris Jandric helped the Vernon Vipers finish off the pre-season with a 5-3 victory over the Trail Smoke Eaters in what was a feisty and physical game between the two teams. Jandric fired a couple of canons from either point that found the back of the net to help the team improve it’s record to 3-0-0-1 with just the one loss coming in overtime to Salmon Arm.

Also finding the back of the net for the Snakes were Nicholas Cherkowski, Michael Young and Jordan Sandhu with the empty netter. Newcomer Anthony Yamnitsky, who was let go by the Wenatchee Wild, earned the start and play ed half the game before Ty Taylor came in for the second half.
