The high flying Penticton Vees make a return to KAL Tire place to take on the Vernon Vipers. The Snakes will be looking for some revenge after losing the previous meeting 6-nothing on New Year’s Day. The Vees come into the contest with the best record in the BCHL with 33 wins 4 losses and 1 tie while the Vipers sit in 5th place in the Interior Conference with a record of 16 wins, 21 losses and 3 OTL.
It’s an important contest for the Vipers since they sit a single point out of a playoff spot just behind the Trail Smoke Eaters who actually have a pair of games in hand. The Vees are led by potential top NHL draft picks Tyson Jost and Dante Fabbro who have combined for an impressive 107 points. Sniper Scott Conway who scored a hat-trick against the Vipers, leads the Vees with 37 goals and 40 assists.
The Vernon Vipers top guns are #15 Odeen Tufto who has 41 Points and #21 Liam Finlay who has recorded 30 points including 11 goals.
