Vees Take Game 4 – Lead Series 3-1

The Vernon Vipers tried to build off momentum from a huge game 3 win over the Penticton Vees, but the visitors had other ideas. The Vees got out to an early lead in the first and the Vipers just couldn’t recover. Viper goals came from Steven Jandric and Hunter Zandee. The Vees had goals from Nick Jones (2), Owen Sillinger, Easton Brodzinski, Scott Conway and Tyson Jost.

Andrew Shortridge made 36 saves on 42 shots, while Zach Driscoll turned aside 17 of 19 Viper shots. Powerplays struggled for both sides with the Vipers going 0 for 7 and the Vees 0 for 4. The big difference was two shorthanded goals from Penticton.

Assistant coach Kevin Pedersen talks about the teams inability to follow the game plan.

Game 5 will go Friday night at the SOEC at 7pm. Hear all the action on 107.5 KissFM starting at 6:45.
