Vernon Kia Game Day! – Vipers Entertain Centennials To Kick Off Mini Home Stand

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers looked to end a 4 game slide Friday night when they welcome the Merritt Centennials for the first time.

The Vipers (3-6-0) had a strong showing in their last outing, falling 2-0 in Chilliwack against a very good Chiefs team.  The Vipers are looking for offense as they’ve got 3 games without scoring a goal.

The Centennials (2-7-0) are coming in after a tough showing at the BCHL Showcase Festival with a 4-1 loss against Alberni Valley then a 7-1 defeat to the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Earlier in the week, the Vipers added some help for Max Palaga, adding 19 year old goaltender Reilly Herbst from the USHL.  He is expected to be with his new team for this weekends set of games.
